We are always striving for new expertise and innovative ideas. The basis for innovation is knowledge and our packaging machines are developed based on 40 years of knowledge and experience. Today’s machines collect data that is the source for analysis, smart tools for maintenance and innovative functionality.

Performance and analytics

Our analytics package makes monitoring performance and relevant machine data easy. Cloud based services allow analyzing and improving machine uptime based on real time data. All machines have OPC UA capability and can easily be connected to IoT solutions. Customizable analytics dashboards offer a quick overview of your most important key metrics collected from the machines. We deliver unique tools for keeping track of power consumption per produced product, machine availability per shift and other necessary data for optimizing your production line.

Remote commissioning

Remote commissioning is one of the key benefits of using our software. Tronrud Engineering offers remote commissioning of machines delivered by us. This means that we can install and commission installations without being on site. Our machines are equipped with remote camera systems and secure data connections to the control system via a virtual private network. Our technical staff can offer unique service by using Microsoft HoloLens to guide operators and service personnel in their daily work to maintain optimal uptime.

Online documentation

Tronrud Engineering offers customers an online archive with access to relevant documents, manuals and live 3D models of parts and components for all our products. This allows for easy maintenance and operation in order to maximise machine uptime. Additionally, Tronrud Engineering offers an online library of training videos for operators and staff. We also offer workshops and training online if needed.

Digital support and service

The staff at Tronrud Engineering can track and monitor machine performance remotely from our base at Eggemoen. Our team can monitor live production via cameras and also track machine data such as availability, number of processed cases, states and hitlists for alarms. This enables flexible remote diagnostics and assistance. IoT also enables us to monitor advanced metrics such as for instance air and power consumption or individual motor temperature and torque. This allows for more complex diagnostic analysis if required.
